More interesting questions and commentary. I will add, having just moved from Albuquerque back to LA, there’s NO real grass like that in Albuquerque. None. It’s all xeriscape (rocks). My husband and I lived in a house with a front yard full of rocks and a backyard with a fake lawn.
Aha! I knew it (I’m from NY and live in MA…) So, but like, Carol seems really wealthy. Like, her house is huge. Is it possible that some people had actual grass somehow transplanted? My question is: is the grass a production error or is it something potentially thematically relevant?
I can’t imagine that it’s a production error. Like this whole team, it's the same team that shot Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. They live in Albuquerque. The grass is deliberate. But why?
And... don't be fooled. That "large" house is just a normal size for Albuquerque. We rented a 5-bedroom house for less than we're paying for a 3-bedroom in Northridge. It's Albuquerque.

It was strikingly odd—enough to make me wonder.

To be revealed.

(I think the house we see in the show isn’t a real house.)
You’re probably right.
